The RV/MH Hall of Fame museum recently received the donation of a unique custom-made motorhome. The Star Streak II was built by Paul Jones of Cape Coral, Fla., as an all aluminum, fully-equipped, 22-foot motorhome that will fit in a standard residential garage. It was built on a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado chassis and uses the 1976 Oldsmobile Toronado 455 engine and front-wheel drive train. The coach has all the features of much larger modern coaches including three air conditioners, furnace, stove, refrigerator and bath with shower and toilet. The Star Streak is now on display in the museum located off the Indiana Toll Road in Elkhart. The Hall of Fame museum displays over 50 RV and manufactured housing units covering the span from 1913 up to the present day with more than 20 units from the years before WWII.
