According to a release, Smith, who replaces the retired George Cargo, is responsible for marketing Hayes products in the RV, OEM and specialty markets.
Prior to joining Hayes, Smith was most recently the director of product management with Stag-Parkway and prior to that director of marketing with NAPA Auto Parts.
Smith has a bachelor’s in marketing from the University of North Carolina.
