Year-old Heartland Recreational Vehicles LLC has weighed in with its second fifth-wheel series, the more affordable, midpriced Bighorn, with five floorplans in lengths of 33 1/2 feet to 37 feet.
Heartland unveiled the aluminum-and-hung fiberglass Bighorn at the Louisville Trade Show, joining the luxury Landmark fifth-wheel – priced in the $55,000-$65,000 range – in the company’s fledgling lineup.
Bighorn sports spacious storage, Corian countertops and gas fireplaces for base prices ranging from $35,000 to $40,000.
“The demographics of the industry are inevitably leading to an appetite for bigger and better RVs” said Heartland President Brian Brady. “That’s what the consuming public wants.”
