Heartland Recreational Vehicles LLC, a subsidiary of Thor Industries Inc, announced the promotion of two long-term and qualified employees to its upper management sales structure.
Heartland President Chris Hermon reported in a press release that AJ Jones and Kyle Miller have been named to director of sales positions for the Elkhart, Ind.-based company. Both employees previously served in senior general manager roles for Heartland.
“AJ and Kyle will be responsible for all layers of our sales, product development and dealer relationships,” Hermon noted. “All general managers at Heartland and our Cruiser RV subsidiary will be reporting to Jones and Miller. AJ and Kyle will report directly to me.”
“They bring a wide array of talent to the table having been successful in the travel trailer and fifth-wheel segments of the industry,” added Hermon. “AJ’s vision and knowledge of the toy hauler sector with our Cyclone and other brands is key to our No. 1 ranking in the category. He will also have Andy Westorp overseeing the Big Horn, Traveler and Landmark lines. Andy has been in charge of our successful Landmark label for many years, so it’s a perfect fit to hand over the reins of Big Horn/Traveler to Andy and AJ.”
Miller, who oversaw operations for Heartland subsidiaries Cruiser RV and DRV Luxury Suites, has been “the main figure for DRV’s high level of performance year after year while also driving growth at Cruiser RV,” according to Hermon.
Hermon said the management moves also allow Heartland to “push our quality and service to the next level. How we work with our dealer partners is extremely important, as well as handling issues and problems in a timely manner. AJ and Kyle will be key in driving our company to be the best quality- and service-focused in our industry.”
