There’s still time to register for Education Days and Industry Preview Day at Hershey America’s Largest RV Show,Sept. 14- 15, according to a press release. The show, presented by the Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association (PRVCA), brings the industry together for education, meetings, networking and an advanced look at the nearly 1,500 RVs on display.
“Education Days are a great opportunity for the industry to bring their technicians to train in different classes in one location,” said Heather Leach, PRVCA executive director. “It’s also a convenient time for dealers to meet with their manufacturer representatives, see the new 2027 RV models and check out the latest technology.”
Technicians can still register for the classes and earn CEUs in certain sessions. The classes are held in the GIANT Center, 540 W. Hersheypark Drive, Hershey, Pa., unless noted otherwise.
The classes still available include:
Monday, Sept.14
- RV Electricity: Getting Ready for the Ground Monitor Interrupters (GMI), presented by Mike Sokol, RV Electricity. It is scheduled from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Dexter Axle: Servicing RV Axles and Electric Braking Systems (Level 2 refresher), taught by Bill Snyder. It will be held on Monday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
- WFCO: Troubleshooting Your 12 Volt and 120 Volt Systems will be held on Monday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m.–11 a.m. The session is presented by Derek Dombrowksi and is worth one CEU following completion of an exam administered at the end of the course.
- RV Weight, Tires and Matching Tow Vehicles to Trailers and Truck Campers, presented by Trey Selman, RV Safety and Education Foundation, is set for 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Four CEUs will be awarded to technicians who complete a test administered at the end of the course.
America’s Largest RV Show Industry Days
Tuesday, Sept. 15
- Slimrack Slide-Outs/Motorized Leveling is set for 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. Lippert’s John Farmer will present the session worth three CEUs to technicians who successfully complete a test administered at the end of the course.
- Dexter Axle: Advanced Axle Suspension and Brake Service (Level 3 chassis) is an advanced course for existing Level 2 technicians. Bill Snyder, Dexter Axle, will present the course from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Six CEUs will be awarded upon completion of a test at the end of the class.
- RV Ventilation, presented by Chris Dougherty, Dougherty RV Consulting, is set for 10 a.m.-12 noon.
- Dometic Freshjet 5 AC Installation and Troubleshooting, presented by Brent Troncalli and Travis Hudnall, Dometic, is from 1 p.m.- 3 p.m.
- Advanced 120-Volt and 12-Volt Troubleshooting is scheduled for 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. at the Hershey Lodge. Mike Sokol of RV Electricity will present the course.

On Tuesday, Sept. 15, America’s Largest RV Show is open to the industry for a preview from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nearly 1,500 new RVs will be on-site to tour, and manufacturers will be available to answer questions and to meet with dealers. Nearly 200 booth vendors will also be open on Industry Day. They offer RV parts and accessories, services, campground and vacation destinations and much more.
In addition, PRVCA will host a silent auction to benefit the PRV Political Action Committee (PAC) from Monday, Sept. 14 – 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18. Items open for bidding include RV and camping equipment, gift baskets, tools, sports tickets, getaways and more. PRVCA is also selling show t-shirts to benefit the PRV PAC fund. They are available to purchase at the show information desk.
