Hershey, Pa., is preparing for the thousands of recreational vehicle enthusiasts that will be attending September’s 37th Annual Pennsylvania RV & Camping Show.
The event, managed by the Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association (PRVCA), will run September 12-18 at the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex.
Previously held at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show Complex, this marks the first year the show will be held in Hershey. “The move offers an exciting opportunity for us to try new things; and the location couldn’t be better,” said Rebecca Lenington, PRVCA executive vice president.
Recently recognized by Tradeshow Week 200 as the ninth largest trade show in the nation, the show will feature over 1,200 RVs from the nation’s top manufacturers. With over 1.4 million square feet of show space, the event also will include a wide variety of suppliers, vendors and educational speakers.
Trade days will take place on Sept. 12 –13 and the show will open to the public from Sept. 14-18.
According to show organizers, improvements this year include: Free parking for all exhibitors and attendees; three industry breakfasts with trainers like Paul Cummings, Randy Sobel, Jan Kelly and motivator Nido Qubein; a meet and greet with former Pittsburgh Steeler, Franco Harris; and a concert by Grammy Award winning artist Ronnie Milsap.
“The show this year is going to be more exciting than ever,” says Dan Saltzgiver, show chairman.
