Willis Report 1 mediumBrad and Amy Herzog, the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) “Explore America Team,” are once again traveling the highways and byways of this great country to hail the virtues of RV travel.

As reported by RVIA Today Express, from the Windy City and the Wisconsin Dells, to the Black Hills and the Bonneville Salt Flats, the dynamic duo will trek 8,000 miles in a motorhome loaned by Winnebago to check out landmarks in 11 states across the Midwest and the Northwest. Along the way, they’ll make media appearances to showcase all the high-tech options provided by portable homes on wheels and talk about how RVing is a comfortable, convenient, and affordable way to see America, spend quality time together and make lifetime memories.

This summer’s six-week epic journey began in late June in Chicago and ends in Duluth, Minn., on July 31. The Herzogs will visit a mix of major, mid-and small-size media markets in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, North and South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho and Washington. This will be the couple’s 16th summer trip across America in an RV.

In keeping with RV trends, they will drive a retro-designed 2016 Winnebago Brave with two slide-outs, an electric loft bed and a pop-up 46-inch flat screen TV. Herzog says they save money by avoiding the high cost of hotels and restaurants.
