State and local officials will join representatives from Shipshewana, Ind.-based Highland Ridge RV for the official opening of the company’s new manufacturing facility Monday (Sept. 19). The $5.7 million expansion is expected to create up to 65 jobs by 2019.
When the expansion was announced in February, the company said the 92,000 square-foot facility would allow for production of its light and ultra light trailers to double. Highland Ridge is a division of Middlebury-based Jayco Inc.
Indiana Economic Development Corp. President Jim Schellinger will be on hand for the opening, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. in Shipshewana. You can view a time lapse video from July showing the construction of the facility below:
