Hoefer Group announced the signing of Robbins Camper Sales to exclusively retail Hoefer RVs in Florida. Africa-based Hoefer Group builds sub-ultralight RVs that are wood-free and feature leak-free structures.

Hoefer CEO Charles Hoefer said in a press release, “We have completely reworked product design, with our RVs having potential to last decades in normal use. And to make sure customers enjoy buying and owning Hoefer RVs, we looked for great dealers. The Robbins team fits everything we hoped for in the Florida market.”

Robbins Camper Sales was founded by Dennis Robbins in 1975, who continues to own and manage the 16-employee operation. He noted, “Everything we’ve done over the years is customer focused. The pride of our dealership is the level of engagement our employees share in working to make each customer satisfied.”

Robbins Camper Sales specializes in high-end used motorhomes and towables, and Hoefer’s line will return the dealer to new RV sales.

Plans are for Hoefer Group’s travel trailers to start arriving at Robbins Camper Sales later in 2019. Final USA specifications are underway, and training and hiring is ramping up at Hoefer’s African factory in the tiny nation of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) for the start of U.S. production, according to Hoefer.
