Bend, Ore.-based Host Industries Inc., a niche builder of high-end custom truck campers and 4-wheel drive Class C motorhomes, recently hired a local, well-respected interior designer to update and modernize the interiors of their campers and coaches for 2013.

Getting away from the “traditional” color options and styles of most recreational vehicles on the market today, owners Dave Hogue and Mark Storch stated in a news release that these new options are more of what one would expect to see in someone’s custom home.

“From black, solid-surface countertop options to ultra-leather upgrades on the sofa and dinette, these new interior options bring the feeling of comfort and warmth to an already roomy interior,” according to the news release. “Keying in on the trend toward residential amenities, these new changes complement the recently upgraded stereo, including a 10-inch subwoofer with a built-in amplifier, and an outside entertainment center featuring a 12-volt, 22-inch flat screen TV with a built-in DVD.”

Host Industries was started in 2001 by Hogue and Storch, whose fathers founded Beaver Motorhomes.
