The Indiana Manufacturers Association (IMA), the long-time advocate for small and large manufacturers throughout Indiana, announced the promotion of Malika Butler.

According to a press release, Butler served IMA for the past year as the government affairs and communications apecialist. Her new role will be as assistant vice president of governmental affairs.

Her past experience includes serving as the manager of political affairs at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, and as a government affairs associate with Gubera Public Affairs LLC. Additionally, Butler served as a legislative assistant for the Indiana House of Representatives and field manager for the House Republican Campaign Committee while at Indiana University.

Butler will continue her work lobbying on behalf of Indiana’s manufacturing community in the areas of workforce and the environment, as well as managing the administration of Indiana Manufacturers Association’s Political Action Committee (IMPAC).
