Stout’s RV Sales Inc., a large Indianapolis area dealership, has prepared its year 2002 budget on the assumption that it will have a 20% increase in sales revenue this year, according to Joel Rose, vice president.

The dealership, located in Greenwood, Ind., ended 2001 on an upbeat note with a 15% increase in sales during the fourth quarter, Rose told the Indianapolis Star.

Stout’s calls itself ”The World’s Leading Winnebago/Itasca Dealer” and it currently has 65 new Class A motorhomes in its inventory, according to its website.

On Wednesday (Jan. 16), Winnebago sent RV company stock prices soaring higher, despite a down day for the stock market in general, because it revealed plans to increase production due to robust dealer and consumer demand for its motorhomes.

Stout’s also stocks Class A’s built by Country Coach, Damon and several Fleetwood brands, along Class B’s, Class C’s, fifth-wheels and travel trailers built by several manufacturers.
