If one of your New Year’s resolutions was to hit the open road and travel the country in an RV this year, the Indiana State Fairgrounds is currently home to everything you need to make your roadtrip dreams come true.
As reported by the Indianapolis Star, the annual Indy RV Expo is back and bursting at the seams with the best the industry has to offer.
Featuring the six of the area’s top dealers selling motorhomes, fifth wheels, tent campers, travel trailers and toy haulers from more than 60 manufacturers, the expo is ready to accommodate both experts and novices.
And so far, the event hasn’t had any trouble attracting a crowd.
“For the first Saturday, it was a record Saturday. We drew over 3,500 people, and that’s going up against the Colts. We’re very pleased with that,” said Ken Eckstein, president of Mount Comfort RV in Greenfield. “We’re seeing people embrace this as a lifestyle where it’s not just people going out and playing house in the woods, it’s taking your family, unplugging, getting out and spending time away from the hustle and bustle.
“If people are curious about the lifestyle, this is a great place to come, because you can see everything from a $10,000 trailer to a $500,000 motorhome.”
