Nappanee, Ind.-based inTech RV is beginning full production on its all-new modified Luna teardrop camper, which debuted at this year’s Elkhart RV Open House.
“The level of success we had with Luna at the show was almost impossible to imagine,” stated Rich Schnippel, director of RV operations, in a press release. “We sold more units and signed more dealers than we could have ever hoped for with this new product.”
Luna’s “unique profile” is set off by a full front fiberglass cap that features a wrap-around tempered glass windshield. The rear of the camper is more in line with traditional teardrop trailers with a lift-up rear door that gives access to a full gourmet style kitchen.
Schnippel said the Luna teardrop style trailer complements inTech’s popular Flyer adventure trailers.
“One of the biggest issues people have with traditional teardrop trailers is feeling confined and claustrophobic. Luna’s design takes advantage of not only a larger front area, but also the enormous front windshield that really opens up the trailer and makes it feel larger on the inside,” he added. “Unlike any other teardrop trailer, Luna’s front windshield gives you that million dollar view. It’s so easy to pull up to a lake, rolling hills or beach and aim the front of the camper to that beautiful landscape. Luna is an exciting and fun camper.”
