Following the successful launch of a new compact series of central vacuum systems, InterVac Design Corp. announced the introduction of its new “dual port” design.
“RV manufacturers have recognized that customers are no longer satisfied with run of the mill features and options,” said Susan Schlapkohl, vice president of sales for InterVac, in a press release. “The designers are looking at luxury homes and yachts for ideas that can be incorporated in the RV. And we knew we needed to design a vacuum cleaner that went beyond what the competition is offering.”
To accomplish this, InterVac expanded on its successful CS series space saving vacuum cleaners. By adding an additional connection to the back of the unit, the system has a built in port directly on the power unit which is installed in the storage compartment. Another port is located inside the RV for cleaning the interior with the option to add the InterVac patented VacPort sweeper pan with LED lighting.
“We have over 250,000 vacuums in RVs, so we get a lot of feedback from the end user,” said Schlapkohl. “The biggest complaint was there was no easy way to clean the basement or tow vehicle. Battery operated style vacuums were taking too much closet space and they are heavy, so we needed a solution that would be space saving, powerful and clean the RV inside and out.”
The new CS-RM does just that and InterVac was especially pleased when Montana decided to include this system in the newly redesigned Montana for the dealer show in September.
“Everything we do at InterVac is about bringing innovation and great engineering to our products. We don’t have a famous name so we have to rely on our reputation in the marketplace. We make all our products in Florida and we never skimp on quality”.
