The Intrepid Group LLC, a Phoenix, Ariz.-based company that manages six Southwestern campgrounds and RV resorts on behalf of private investors, has announced plans to collectively brand its affiliated parks as Horizon RV Resorts.
The company also announced plans to develop a 142-site park in the Imperial Beach area of San Diego, which will be called Coastal San Diego RV Resort, said Randall Hendrickson, Intrepid Group’s president.
The Intrepid Group, formed three years ago, offers a variety of campground consulting services in addition to managing a $70 million portfolio of parks with 2,200 collective sites, Hendrickson said.
These parks include Garden of the Gods Campground in Colorado Springs, Colo.; Holiday Travel Park in Las Vegas, Nev.; two Arizona parks, Black Rock RV Village in Salome and Desert Vista RV Resort in Mesa; and two California parks, Flying Flaggs RV Resort in Buellton and Sands RV and Golf Resort in Desert Hot Springs.
