It appears a significant number of investors fell in love with the motorhome sector today (Dec. 18) after Winnebago Industries Inc. reported, a few minutes before the stock market opened, sharply higher quarterly earnings.
And Winnebago stock led the way, gaining $4.10 a share in New York Stock Exchange trading to close at $39.85. Winnebago shares climbed as high as $40.25 today, shattering the previous 52-week high for the stock of $37.25.
Rexhall, a small California-based motorhome manufacturer, also reached a new 52-week high today. Rexhall stock gained $1.14 a share, or 16.5%, to close at $8.03. Rexhall shares traded for as much as $8.04 today, surpassing its previous high for the year of $7.75.

Monaco stock gained $1.10 a share, or 5%, to close at $21.59.
Fleetwood gained 46 cents, or 5%, to close at $9.50.
Coachmen gained 85 cents, or 7.5%, to close at $12.15.
Featherlite, a converter of Prevost bus chassis, gained 17 cents, or 17%, to close at $1.15.
