Jim Jacobs has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing at Jayco Inc., Middlebury, Ind., according to Derald Bontrager, president and COO.
Jacobs replaces Norm Frohreich, who left the company to pursue other interests.
The appointment of Jacobs completes Jayco’s “business consolidation objective of combining all towable and motorized sales and marketing activities,” Bontrager said.
Jacobs joined Jayco in 2002 as towables regional sales manager for the Pacific Northwest. and he was promoted to director of motorized sales and marketing in February.
Before joining Jayco, Jacobs served in sales and management positions at Kit Manufacturing Inc., Holiday Rambler Corp. and King of the Road.
He is a graduate of Kansas State University and he and his wife, Melissa, and their children live in Middlebury.
Jayco builds travel trailers, fifth-wheels, folding campers and Class C motorhomes under the Eagle, Qwest, Designer, Jay Flight, Kiwi, Talon, Greyhawk and Granite Ridge brand names.
