Jason Lippert has been promoted to president and CEO of supplier firm Lippert Components Inc. (LCI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Drew Industries Inc.
LCI, based in Goshen, Ind., is a supplier of chassis and related products to the manufacturers of towable RVs.
Jason Lippert, who, most recently, was executive vice president and CEO of LCI, replaces his father, Doug, who will remain as “an active chairman” of LCI and is a member of the Drew Board of Directors.
“Lippert Components was acquired by Drew in October 1997 and has been an extremely well-run business since it was established in 1956,” said Leigh Abrams, president and CEO of Drew, which is based in White Plains, N.Y. “We believe Jason’s leadership and experience will continue the company’s heritage of success.
“Jason has been instrumental in the significant growth of Lippert Components over the past several years and he look forward to him building on the legacies of his father and grandfather,” Abrams added.
Jason Lippert began as a trainee at LCI in Goshen in 1995, after earning a bachelor’s degree in management information systems and accounting from Miami (Ohio) University.
Then, he was named general manager of LCI’s plant in McAdoo, Pa., before being put in charge of LCI’s larger facility in Goshen.
His responsibilities were, eventually, expanded to include LCI operations in Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Texas.
