Jayco Inc., Middlebury, Ind., is offering the 41-foot, wood-and-aluminum Jay Flight Bungalow destination travel trailer for 2009 with a $35,143 base MSRP. “More and more people and more and more campgrounds are headed in the direction of destination camping,” said Jim Jacobs, vice president of sales and marketing. “A lot of campgrounds are looking at extended-stay rentals.” With three two- or three-slideout floorplans, the 8 1/2-foot-wide, wood-and-aluminum Jay Flight Bungalow features fireplaces with decorative trim, ducted heat, 18-cu.-foot refrigerators, acrylic sinks, free-standing kitchen tables, fabric-covered box valances, raised-panel maple kitchen cabinets, Jayco-designed residential furniture, patio-style doors, garden tubs and under-bed storage with gas struts.
