Jayco Inc., Monaco Coach Corp., and Winnebago Industries Inc., have begun notifying owners about recalls for certain units, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
Jayco recalled 12,281 model-year 1996 through 2000 Designer fifth-wheels and travel trailers. Dealers will add or replace fasteners used on the underfloor.
Monaco recalled 251 model-year 2000 through 2002 Monaco Monarch and LaPalma and Holiday Rambler Admiral motorhomes that were built on Workhorse chassis. Dealers will inspect the fuel line routing, install additional means of securing the fuel line, if required, and/or replace the line if damage has occurred. The affected floorplans are: 30D, 30PBD, 32PBD, 36DPD, 36PBD, 36WDD and 37WDD.
Winnebago recalled 154 model-year 2001 Itasca Adventurer and Sun Cruiser units built on Workhorse chassis. Dealers are to replace the black pipe supplying liquid propane (LP) gas to the furnace and replace the LP line. Models WPG35U, WPG37G, IPG35U and IPG37G are affected.
Winnebago also recalled 1,292 model-year 2000 through 2002 Journey, Journey DL and Itasca Horizon units. Dealers will inspect the LP tank attachment and retighten fasteners in addition to adding lock nuts. Models WKP36L, WKP36LD and IKP36LD are affected.
