A new Designer series folding camper and the new Qwest TSL series of travel trailers and fifth-wheels will be the highlights of Jayco Inc.’s towable product introductions at the National RV Trade Show in Louisville Dec. 3-5.
The Designer folding camper features a “sleek, streamlined and dramatic new look in camping trailers, emulating the Euro-styling prevalent in the auto industry,” according to the Middlebury, Ind., company.
Meanwhile, the Qwest line of towables “has been energized with the new Qwest TSL option package, featuring light-weight aluminum framing, laminated construction and bold, dynamic graphics. The upgrade package adds even more value to one of the industry’s most economical towable lines,” according to Jayco.
Also at Louisville, Jayco will have the 2003 Talon ZX sport utility trailer, which the company describes as “brash, bold and built to endure the rugged demands of today’s off-road adventure seeker. It isn’t your father’s RV.” The Talon ZX also includes “several new brawny features like an optional power winch and six sturdy D-rigs for securing vehicles. Two optional screen attachments are also available.”
Jayco’s Designer Legacy series, the company’s “flagship fifth wheel,” will, at Louisville, feature “significantly increased storage space” thanks to the company’s Spacemaster chassis system. It also has a “kitchen that rivals residential cooking areas while the living room is accented with plush, sculptured carpet and all-wood maple or cherry cabinetry.”
Jayco’s entry-level Jay Flight travel trailers and fifth-wheels also have been enhanced for 2003 with “residential-style touches that include three new décor schemes, full-length lambrequins on the window treatments, framed accent mirrors and linoleum flooring.”
