The Nov. 9-13 event, held at the Embassy Suites and Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington, attracts representatives from 80 Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts across the United States and eastern Canada as well as aspiring and existing private park operators who are interested in joining the Jellystone Park franchise network.
“Our network continues to grow and this symposium offers an excellent opportunity for both current and aspiring Jellystone Park franchisee owners to meet with one another and hear important updates about the financial performance of Jellystone Parks across the country as well as the latest findings from our guest survey research,” said Michele Wisher, director of marketing for Milford, Ohio-based Leisure Systems Inc., which franchises Jellystone Parks across the U.S. and Canada.
The symposium will include reports from LSI COO Rob Schutter and other top LSI officials regarding the strength of the campground business, the performance of Jellystone Parks in the U.S. and Canada, and emerging travel and camping trends that could provide new marketing and business opportunities for Jellystone Park franchisees.
The symposium is also rich with educational programs, including seminars on merchandising; secrets to affording water attractions; social media; crisis communications with the news media; and getting the most out of TripAdvisor.com and your park’s online presence.
The trade show component of the symposium will feature more than 70 vendors of products and services of interest to campgrounds.
The symposium will conclude with an annual awards presentation to exemplary Jellystone Park franchisees across the U.S. and Canada.
