Craig Jensen, an executive of the FreedomRoads dealership network, has stepped down as chairman of the RVDA-RVIA Technician Certification Governing Board and as secretary/treasurer of the RVDA Education Foundation board, effective April 1.
Jensen will be replaced as governing board chairman by Lee FitzGerald of Venture Out, Bakersfield, Calif.
Jensen served for 15 years in a number of Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) leadership positions, including board chairman in 2001-02.
“RVDA, the RVDA Education Foundation’s RV Learning Center, and the entire industry are fortunate that we’ve had almost unlimited access to Craig’s passion for improving the RV business,” said RVDA President Mike Molino.
Jensen was a dealer principal at Blaine Jensen RV Center in Kaysville, Utah, during the majority of his RVDA service and remains active in RV dealership management as Western Group division president for Chicago-area based FreedomRoads Inc. FreedomRoads is major contributor to the RVDA Education Foundation’s RV Learning Center.
Jensen served as member of the RVDA board in 1991-92 and returned to the board in 1998. He joined the RVDA Education Foundation board in 1999, and participated in setting up the RV Learning Center.
Jensen has been a member of the RVDA-RVIA Technician Certification Governing Board since 2002 and chairman since 2003.
