Chicago area-based FreedomRoads LLC announced today (Jan. 15) that Craig Jensen has been named president of the RV Dealership Group. The promotion is effective immediately as Jensen will transition from his role as west division president.
According to a press release, Jensen will be responsible for all dealer operations and report directly to Marcus Lemonis, CEO of FreedomRoads, a national dealer network, and Bowling Green, Ky.-based Camping World.
“It is an honor to be named to this crucial post,” said Jensen. “It is also an enormous responsibility that I feel well qualified to handle. The talented management both on the dealership and corporate sides will help me to succeed and I’m extremely excited to work with them in this capacity.”
Jensen served in several capacities at Salt Lake City, Utah-based Blaine Jensen and Sons, including president and CEO. Under his leadership, the dealership’s annual revenues grew from $3 million to over $50 million.
In 2003, he became president of Blaine Jensen RV Centers LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of FreedomRoads.
Jensen has also served on the several industry boards, including the Utah RV Dealers Association and the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA).
“Craig is one of the most experienced executives in the business,” said Lemonis. “He knows our business inside and out having of all of the dealers and their associates, and Craig has that without question. He is a great leader who has it all.”
