Jimbo & Company Transport Posts Near 50% Growth in Q1

Jimbo & Co Transport Celebrating 15-Year Anniversary

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. — While much of the RV transport sector has been bracing against a perfect storm of global uncertainty, climbing fuel costs, and softening retail demand, one Indiana-based carrier is telling a very different story.

Jimbo & Company Investments LLC, DBA Jimbo & Company Transport, a 15-year veteran of the RV and specialty freight transport industry, closed the first quarter of 2026 having met every internal goal, with overall numbers tracking close to 50% above the same period last year, according to a release.

“A lot of people looked at the landscape heading into this year and saw reasons to pull back,” said Jourdan Hansen, vice president and chief operating officer. “We saw an opportunity. Yes, the war overseas is creating uncertainty in the supply chain. Yes, fuel prices are up. Yes, RV unit sales have softened. We know all of that. And we still hit every single target we set for Q1.”

Hansen attributed the company’s resilience to a combination of operational discipline, a rapidly expanding owner-operator network, and a strategic investment in technology that has modernized the customer and contractor experience from the ground up. The company entered 2026 with an aggressive plan to nearly double its revenue in a 12-month window, a target set with full awareness of the headwinds already forming across the industry.

“We don’t make excuses for the market,” Hansen said. “We build systems that perform regardless of the market. That’s what separates us.”

Headquartered in Middlebury, Ind. — the heart of the nation’s RV manufacturing corridor — Jimbo & Company works directly with major manufacturers and dealers across the country, moving units coast to coast through a growing network of professional owner-operators. The company’s model, paying drivers by the mile with a contractor-first structure, has proven to be a powerful recruiting tool even as driver availability remains a persistent challenge industrywide, the release continued.

The Q1 performance comes as RV retail sales have faced continued to face pressure from elevated interest rates and cautious consumer spending. For transport carriers tied closely to dealer inventory movement, that environment typically translates to lighter loads and tighter margins. Jimbo & Company’s ability to grow volume against that backdrop stands as a notable outlier.

“This thing of ours ,this company, was built on loyalty, hard work, and doing more than what’s expected,” Hansen said. “That culture doesn’t change when times get hard. If anything, it gets stronger.”

The company is projecting continued momentum through the balance of 2026, with plans to expand its owner-operator fleet and further roll out AI-enabled tracking and logistics tools designed to give customers real-time visibility into every shipment.
