When the Elkhart County 4-H Fair gates open in a few weeks, a local RV company will headline a well-known space to fairgoers, commonly called the “famous food row.”
As reported by the Goshen News, a sign reading “Food Row sponsored by Keystone RV Co.” will soon stretch across the road at the fairgrounds, welcoming visitors to the row of tasty treats. Keystone, based in Goshen, Ind., signed a two-year agreement with fair officials to serve as sponsor.
The 2015 Elkhart County 4-H Fair “Planning Toward a Bright Future” begins July 24 and continues through Aug. 1. The sponsorship funding from Keystone RV will be used toward paving projects and facility upkeep, fair officials said.
“Keystone has been part of our sponsor list for many years, but we’re excited to be able to open up this new area for sponsorship,” said Kristy Ambrosen, marketing coordinator for the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Jim Mac, communications director for Keystone RV, said the company has long been part of the fair and looks forward to taking on a bigger sponsorship role. “Everybody likes to go to the fair and enjoy the food. That’s one of the big draws,” he said. “…We live here and this is our community, so anything we can do as a company to make the community better and stronger, we welcome.”
Keystone won’t be the only RV company with a major sponsorship role, Ambrosen said.
Evergreen RV will again be the sponsor of the track seat entrance and Thor Industries Inc. will serve as the sponsor for the Winner’s Circle at this year’s fair and Grand Design RV Co. will play a role in sponsoring the farm-to-market portion of the fair.
