Keystone RV Co. has recognized the first graduates of the company’s KRV Technical Training Academy.
According to a press release, the three-day “fundamentals” course concluded Thursday (Feb.) 8, with 30 techs from 15 different dealerships participating. Going forward, Keystone will be holding Technical Academy training monthly through May.
The academy, launched by the Goshen, Ind.-based towable builder on Feb. 1, is designed to building a long-term program to help its dealers excel in all levels of technical skill. Training is available to Keystone, Dutchmen and CrossRoads dealerships nationwide.
“This investment in the KRV Technical Training Academy is a commitment to help our dealers deliver the best customer service experience in the industry,” said Rick Deisler, Keystone vice president of service operations, in a Feb. 1 press release. “Through the academy we will be working hands-on with dealer technicians to ensure the highest level of skill while keeping the dealership up to date on the latest Keystone technology.”
The academy is headed up by Randy Davis, a 30-year industry veteran and 20-year master certified technician.
