Keystone RV Co.’s Montana fifth-wheel brand has set a new retail record with unit sales up 19% for the first quarter, according to Statistical Survey’s Inc. of Grand Rapids, Mich.
Keystone Vice President of Sales Jeff Runels said that first-quarter record numbers indicate Montana dealers and potential buyers have “overwhelmingly endorsed the many product enhancements” instituted over the past nine months.
“For a brand that has been the top retailing luxury fifth-wheel for the past 14 years, it is very impressive to achieve such significant growth,” Runels stated in a press release. “It is a testament to the effort our product and sales teams have put in to take Montana products to the next level. Our dealers in turn have responded and championed Montana products at shows and on their lots. We are grateful for their support.”
Regarding product, Runels noted, “Montana and Montana High Country are both positioned perfectly in their respective target markets. Montana’s great exterior and interior eye appeal, exciting new product features and innovative new floorplans, combined with the versatility of the price point, enable Montana dealers to take the No. 1 selling luxury fifth-wheel and appeal to an even wider audience. As far as High Country, we could not be more excited. High Country’s aggressive price point and category-leading upgraded features provide our dealers with a truly competitive advantage in a high-volume segment.”
Product Manager Jason Gill added, “By carefully listening to feedback from our dealer partners and our loyal retail customers, Montana will continue to provide what customers have come to expect from the premier luxury fifth-wheel brand in the industry.”
