Keystone RV Co. believes its newly created lightweight towable RV division will capture $50 million in sales revenue during its first year in operation, said Cole Davis, president and CEO.

A few weeks ago, Keystone, based in Goshen, Ind., announced it hired Randy Graber, formerly national sales manager at KZ Inc., Shipshewanna, Ind., to head its new lightweight division.

The division headed by Graber will primarily work on prototypes until November, when a new 65,000-square-foot factory for the lightweight division will be completed in Goshen.

Consequently, the lightweight division will not contribute much this year to Keystone’s total sales, which Davis believes will reach $370 million. “The $50 million (in lightweight division sales revenue) will come on top of the $370 million” in sales revenue forecasted for 2001, Davis said.

Because of the additional sales from the lightwight division, plus growth from Keystone’s other towable RV operations, the company could reach $500 million in total sales during 2002, Davis added.
