Damon Corp., Elkhart, Ind., plans to sell its Towable and Camplite folding camper divisions to Keystone RV Co., Goshen, Ind., the two companies announced.

The transaction is expected to be finalized on April 28, said Keystone Chairman Cole Davis.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Davis said the acquisition would move Keystone up to No. 4 among the builders of travel trailers and fifth-wheels.

Meanwhile, Damon Chairman Don Pletcher said there are no plans to sell his company’s motorhome or park model divisions.
