Keystone RV Co., Goshen, Ind., reports that its new Retreat destination travel trailer has been well received in the early consumer show circuit.
“In shows from Nova Scotia to Chicago to the West Coast, response to the new Retreat is exceeding our expectations,” said Product Manager Jeff Wagner. “The Retreat’s high ceilings, residential carpet, lighting, furnishing and floorplans make it feel more like a vacation home than a typical RV.”
Wagner cited a recent Retreat buyer who plans to use the destination trailer as a lake cottage, replacing the family’s $200,000 motorhome.
“With a suggested retail price under $35,000, the Retreat makes financial sense, something customers are especially attuned to these days. Retreat is affordable to the huge majority of consumers who desire a vacation home but do not want to invest in your typical brick-and-mortar residence. Now our dealers will be able to expand their customer base to a larger segment.”
The new Retreat line is offered in two floorplans, with a third coming soon. Features include 8-foot-high ceilings, an “industry first” cathedral slideout room, large bay windows, king-sized beds and residential air-bed sleeper sofas.
