Kingsley Coach Inc., a company that converts heavy duty truck chassis into motorhomes, reported its losses narrowed during the three months ended March 31.

The company lost $136,000 during the first three months of this year, compared with $239,500 lost during the first quarter of 1999.

However, Kingsley’s sales increased 414% during the first quarter of this year to $683,000.

Another loss is anticipated during the second quarter because the company still is in the “development stage,” said Terry Watkins, CEO. Kingsely should become profitable during the third quarter of this year, Watkins added.
