During the current Daytona Beach Bike Week, Kingsley Coach Inc, is showing a motorhome with an electronically activated ramp that allows a motorcycle rider to drive a bike into the back of the motorhome.
Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Fla., began Friday (Feb. 27) and continues through Sunday (March 7).
This is the fourth year that Kingsley, which converts class 8 and 7 semi-truck chassis into luxury motorhomes, has exhibited at Bike Week.
The automatic garage feature included in the Kingsley unit at Daytona Beach allows two fully dressed motorcycles to be driven up the ramp and into a fixed and secure position for easy dismount.
Then, one push on the activation button closes the garage door ramp. The bikes are safely stored and can be conveniently carried cross country with no loss of living quarters space.
The proprietary garage feature eliminates any need for a trailer, according to the company.
