Campers who visit Kampgrounds of America’s KOA.com website will see some changes as they search for their next camping destination.

According to a press release, KOA recently updated its content management system and landing page templates for campground owners, allowing them to better use photos to visually display their campground’s offerings, and use a scrolling format that will be both familiar to Internet users, and easier for campground owners to update.

“The new look focuses much more on photography and video to highlight the beautiful campgrounds in our system,” said Cole Reinhardt, KOA’s digital marketing director. “We also optimized even further for mobile devices, allowing our guests using mobile devices to have a better campground reservation experience.”

“KOA.com was already the world’s most popular camping website, but to stay on top, we have to keep evolving with our customers. It’s all about making things easier for our campers and our campground owners.”

The new format also makes it easier for KOA owners to add videos and other visual elements to their pages, as well as complete lists of amenities, special offers, area attractions and campground special events.

“We’ve got beautiful KOA campgrounds all across North America,” said Reinhardt. “We think our new website design allow our KOA owners to really showcase what makes them so special.”
