PrintFor the second year in a row, Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA) parks will be featured on two of the top country western music television channels in North America.

The Mount Rushmore KOA Resort at Palmer Gulch in South Dakota will be the host for the Great American Country (GAC) Top 20 Countdown Show, which will premiere June 26 on the GAC cable channel in the U.S.

The 1000 Islands/Ivy Lea KOA in Ontario will be the host for the Country Music Television (CMT) Top 20 Countdown Show that premieres June 27 on the CMT cable channel in Canada.

The two networks will also feature a KOA commercial. The GAC Network will also present short videos featuring KOA campers talking about their camping experiences.

The two Top 20 episodes will also be rebroadcast several times throughout the summer. The KOA commercial and the vignettes will air continually throughout the summer, and will also appear this summer on other cable networks including the History Channel and HGTV.

“These two country music channels continue to be a wonderful platform to help spread our message about the joys of KOA camping,” said KOA Senior Vice President of Marketing Toby O’Rourke. “Their audiences have a high propensity to own RVs and to love outdoor activities, so it’s a perfect group to show all that KOA campgrounds now have to offer.”

Celebrating its 53rd Anniversary in 2015, KOA is the world’s largest network of family-friendly campgrounds with 485 locations in North America.
