Kampgrounds of America Inc.’s (KOA) Chairman and CEO Jim Rogers will lead a special workshop, sponsored by the RVDA Education Foundation Inc.’s RV Learning Center, on Dec. 1 in Louisville, Ky.
According to a press release, Rogers will show RV dealers how to “take their entire dealership to the next of level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.”
The workshop will be at the Executive West Hotel in Louisville, a day before the opening of the National RV Trade Show.
Rogers will draw on his long career in the gaming, hospitality and camping industries to help participants plan their own strategies to take their customer satisfaction and service from good service to great. In addition, a panel of industry leaders will share their insights into exceeding customer expectations, and what new measures they are taking to survive and thrive in 2009.
“To thrive in uncertain times you must focus on those competitive features that you can control,” Rogers said. “Whether it be an RV dealership, a manufacturer, campground, or Disneyland, you have to start with your people.”
The session also will include current industry trends and forecasts.
The workshop runs from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and costs $95 for RVDA members and $125 for non-members in advance. On-site registration will be $120 for RVDA members and $165 for non-members.
