KPA will present a webinar on how HR departments should conduct investigations, set to run  Aug. 16 at 1 p.m. (EDT).

Presented by Jacki Thompson with FordHarrison and KPA’s Christina Johnson the webinar will include:

  • Common mistakes in investigations.
  • Planning the investigation.
  • Interviewing strategies.
  • Handling confidentiality.
  • Proper responses.          

Thompson is a legal counsel with FordHarrison. Her practice is concentrated on labor relations and employment litigation representing management. She counsels employers on a variety of issues, including employee terminations, how to avoid/resolve labor and employment disputes and litigation, and Title VII, FMLA, FLSA, and ADA compliance.

Johnson is KPA’s lead human resources consultant. She has 20-plus years of HR management, benefits management, and consulting experience. Christina works with KPA’s largest HR clients and serves as a subject matter expert on the KPA HRDrive system.
