Each year, about two million Americans report having been victims of workplace violence. According to a press release, the risk of assault can be prevented or minimized if employers and employees learn to take appropriate precautions.

Dealers can learn more about the second-leading cause of death in the workplace during a free webinar on March 16 at noon EST. The educational session will provide an overview of the common forms of workplace violence, high-risk employers and employees, warning signs, and other risk factors associated with workplace violence, plus employee and employer responsibilities in preventing and reporting incidents.

Learn how to protect your employees from workplace violence and ensure that the dealership is a safe environment. The webinar will cover the components of a written workplace violence prevention program and discuss policies, procedures, training, and safeguards to mitigate the potential for workplace violence.

KPA Vice President Kathryn Carlson will present the webinar. Her specialty is KPA’s new HRIS platform, HRDrive, and managing the company’s onsite and online HR consulting program.

Dealer webinars are provided by RVDA’s strategic partner KPA as part of the educational offerings available through the RV Learning Center.  Register online.
