Kropf Industries Inc. held a special ceremony honoring its owner, Donald Kropf, for 50 years of service on Tuesday (Sept. 24) at its manufacturing facility in Goshen, Ind.
The ceremony was held during the company’s annual showcase for the Elkhart RV Open House. The Open House is an annual dealer-only event where RV and park model RV (PMRV) manufacturers showcase their newest products.
Kropf Industries Inc. is also celebrating its 80th year in business.
According to Kropf Industries, Donald is the third generation of the Kropf family to own the business, which opened its doors in 1946 and was founded by Solomon Kropf.
Originally known as Kropf Manufacturing, Donald Kropf and Curt Yoder officially purchased the company in 1998 and renamed it Kropf Industries Inc.
In 2021, Curt retired from Kropf Industries to spend more time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Solomon’s great-grandson, Trevor Kropf, joined his father, Donald, in 2010 and is now the general manager of the company.
Another great-grandson, Brian Wogoman, joined the team in 2014. Brian’s engineering experience and years in the RV industry enable him to fill multiple roles at Kropf as Director of Product Development/Engineering.
