La Mesa RV Center announced the recent promotion of Bob Upton to the role of president for the corporation. Upton has held numerous roles within the company over the past 22 years, most recently serving as vice president of sales and service.
According to a press release, Upton will be directly responsible for all operations of the company including sales, service, advertising, facilities and identifying growth opportunities.

Upton hails from Monroe and Natchitoches, La., and is a graduate of the University of Louisiana Monroe with a bachelor’s in music education as well a masters of music from Northwestern State University. In order to supplement his income while working towards a doctoral degree at the University of Arizona, he worked in sales for La Mesa RV in Tucson.
He has since been promoted into other capacities including general sales manager, vice president of sales, and vice president of sales and service.
