Lance Camper Manufacturing Corp. participated in the Texas Truck Camper Rally, hosted by Lanin Round Rock, Texas-based Princess Craft RV. According to a press release, the rally was held April 9-12 at the Guadalupe RV Resort in Kerrville, Texas.
Lance’s Director of Marketing Bob Rogers attended, staying in Lance’s latest truck camper model, the all-new 995. The 995 was also featured on the camper tour organized by Princess Craft.
“I spent most of the weekend answering questions about this awesome new model as folks inspected every detail inside and out,” stated Rogers. “Although the rally is not a selling event, one couple liked the 995 so much, they literally bought the bed out from underneath me while purchasing their second Lance truck camper.”
The rally featured morning “Tech Talks” with Princess Craft technicians discussing subjects including solar power, proper seal maintenance, tie-down systems and any other subject attendees wanted to discuss.
Other notable activities included a silent auction, barbecue dinner, pancake breakfast and wine tasting tour. Tork Lift International was also on hand hosting the “Stable Load Challenge,” answering setup equipment questions and providing some great giveaways.
“Although the weather was a bit rainy off and on this weekend, the rally was well attended and a great success,” said PJ Buerger, rally host and owner of Princess Craft RV. “We look forward to next year’s event and making continued improvements based on input from this year’s attendees.”
