The Lance/Hellwig Rule Breaker 650 participated in the recent King Of The Hammers event, a grueling off-road race that featured 400-plus teams and 50,000-plus spectators in Johnson Valley, Calif.

According to a press release, the race combines desert racing and rock crawling and has expanded from one race to a series of five races held throughout an entire week in February.

“With the exception of the annual Quartzite gathering in the Arizona desert, rarely will you find more RVs camping in one spot,” stated Bob Rogers, director of marketing for Lance Camper Manufacturing Corp. “The event was filled with truck campers and toy haulers and we had a blast going from camp to camp in our Lance/ATVdriver Can Am Maverick handing out free Lance swag to the many Lance owners in attendance.”

The Lance/Hellwig Rule Breaker 650 is equipped with a customized Lance camper and products from leading off-road manufacturers in the industry, including Hellwig’s “Big Wig” 2,800-pound air springs, allowing the driver to fine-tune the load support and ride quality and level the load front to back and side to side.

The rugged truck camper is built on a Titan XD platform with high payload and towing capacity powered by a Cummins diesel engine.
