The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) reported that today (Dec. 22) is the last day for members to register for the hotel at the 2018 RV Leadership Conference, being held Jan. 14-15 at the Marriott Waterside Hotel in Tampa, FL.

According to RVIA Today Express, this year’s conference will offer a slate speakers providing valuable insights on the economy, trends and innovation. Attendees can register here as well as make hotel arrangements here

Opening the day on Monday, Jan. 15, will be Peter Morici, an economist, emeritus professor of business at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, the University of Maryland and a national columnist. His views appear regularly in MarketWatch, the Washington Times, other major metropolitan dailies throughout the United States and Canada, and on the website of Fox and others. Morici will discuss the leading trends that will define the global economy over the next decade, key elements of the Trump Economic Program with an economic outlook for 2018 and 2019.

The Leadership Luncheon will also feature a “40 Under 40” interactive session. RVIA will be asking the inaugural “40 Under 40” class to discuss the top challenges they are facing now and in the future. This will be a facilitated session that will spark conversations, generate solutions and provide tangible takeaways to implement throughout the industry.

On Monday afternoon, Josh Linkner, an internationally-recognized thought leader, New York Times best selling author, and top-rated keynote speaker on innovation, creativity, reinvention, and hyper-growth leadership, takes the stage. As the founder and CEO of five tech companies, Linkner built his businesses from a blank page into a combined value of over $200 million. As a hyper-growth CEO of the past 20 years, he’s used innovative approaches to topple competitors, fight through adversity, and achieve success at the highest levels.

“The RV Leadership Conference is vital in outlining industry trends, member initiatives as well as helping develop future leaders of the RV industry,” said Liz Crawford, RVIA senior vice president of trade shows and events. “We’re excited to bring captivating speakers to address the industry, as we join to share best practices and discuss critical industry issues.”

Executive management as well as the next generation of industry leaders are encouraged to attend to be a part of the impactful networking and educational opportunities.
