Lazydays RV SuperCenter, the nation’s largest single location dealer, recently added nine more Recreation Vehicle Industry Association-certified and master certified technicians to its staff, the Seffner, Fla., firm announced.
Lazydays, located east of Tampa, now has 72 RVIA -certified and master-certified technicians, more than any other RV dealer in North America.
“Our continuous in-house training program for technicians gives us the ability to keep pace with all of the new and complicated systems that are being installed in today’s RVs,” said Bill Romito, Lazydays’ director of technical training. “Our goal for 2004 is to have 100% of our 122 technicians achieve RVIA certification.”
Lazydays, founded in 1976, recently reported record sales revenue of slightly more than $750 million for 2003.
The dealership is located on 150 acres with an 83,000-square-foot main building, over 1,200 RVs on display, 273 service bays and 300 RV campsites.
Additionally, the dealership serves over 300,000 meals annually to its customers, prospects and employees. The site has a 40,000-square-foot Camping World store, a Cracker Barrel Restaurant and a Flying J RV Travel Plaza.
