Tampa, Fla.-based Lazydays RV has appointed Nancy Smith as vice president of human resources. With extensive experience in human resources and administration, Smith will be responsible for all of the activities associated with Lazydays’ human resources department.
“We are confident that under Nancy’s direction, we will continue to build upon our team of skilled professionals that have put Lazydays at the forefront in our industry,” said Randy Lay, Lazydays CFO in a press release. “Her knowledge and expertise in human resources and transportation will complement our commitment to provide a first-class RV lifestyle and experience to our many loyal customers.”
Prior to joining Lazydays, Smith served as director of human resources for the Lakeland Area Mass Transit District. Prior to that role, she served as vice president of administration and director of human resources for the Employers Insurance Co. in Reno, Nevada. In addition, Smith worked for Intuit Corp., also in Reno, as a certified process excellence black belt.
She earned a bachelor’s in human resources management from Kennedy-Western University and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. She is also an avid camper.
