Lazydays RV is sponsoring the American Cancer Society’s upcoming “Tampa Bay Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” fundraising event.

As a supporting contributor, Lazydays RV is sponsoring the event stage for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Hillsborough Walk at Amalie Arena in Tampa on Oct. 28. Last year’s Tampa Bay event had over 22,000 participants and raised over $800,000.

“This is our second year as a sponsor of the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraising event, and we couldn’t be more proud to support this worthy cause,” said John Lebbad, Lazydays chief marketing officer and chair of the “Tampa Bay Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Event” in a press release. “All of us at Lazydays RV are committed to raising awareness and funds to help fight the battle against breast cancer. We hope our involvement in this event will help make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who are impacted by breast cancer.”

The Lazydays-sponsored arena plaza main stage will host the event’s opening ceremony, as well as music and dancing with a live deejay and other family-fun activities. Lazydays RV will also have a 36-foot Class A motorhome on display and open for browsing. Participants can sign up for the walk at the Lazydays display and purchase commemorative items from the adjacent “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” store.

In addition to its role as main stage sponsor, Lazydays RV is sponsoring a team of participants at the event. Lazydays will be donating over $14,000 for the Tampa walk. Lazydays RV has also contributed to the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” silent auction, donating a four-day RV camping getaway at the Lazydays RV Resort.
