Lazydays RV SuperCenter had the best month in its 27-year history in January, selling 1,075 units for more than $97 million, the Tampa, Fla.-area dealership reported.
Lazydays is the world’s largest single-location RV dealership selling primarily new motorhomes, including several highline diesel pusher models, which explains the high sales figure.
The dealership also conducted its nearly monthlong SuperSale and RV Show in January, which is one of the busiest months of the year for RV dealers in Florida.
The high sales volume in January got Lazydays off to a good start in its goal of breaking its all-time sales revenue record of slightly more than $750 million, set in 2003.
Lazydays founder and CEO Don Wallace has said on many occasions that one of his goals is for the dealership to eventually reach $1 billion in annual sales revenue.
