Monaco Coach Corp. recently named Lazydays RV SuperCenter of Seffner, Fla., its Top Overall Retail Dealer for 2001.

Lazydays, located in suburban Tampa, is generally believed to be the largest single-location RV dealership in the country.

In presenting the award, Monaco Vice President of Sales Mike Snell said, “Lazydays deserves this recognition for the exceptional level of sales success they have achieved and the outstanding service they provide. They have helped us further Monaco Coach Corp.’s position as the standard of excellence for our industry.”

Lazydays had $570 million in sales revenue during 2000, according to Don Wallace, CEO.

Despite this year’s slump in retail sales, Wallace said he will not back away from the goal of Lazydays achieving $1 billion in annual sales by 2003.

Wallace said he believes Lazydays can achieve its sales revenue goal by operating from a single location and by providing better customer service.

So far this year, Lazydays’ sales revenue is up 7% and its unit volume is up 4%, when compared with the same portion of 2000, Wallace added.
