Mega dealership Lazydays RV SuperCenter, Seffner, Fla., reports it had a record month of May, delivering 779 units to customers and generating over $66 million in sales revenue.
The Tampa area dealership, which primarily sells gas and diesel engine Class A motorhomes, reports its May sales represents a 16% improvement over May 2002, according to Stewart Schaffer, chief marketing officer.
Lazydays’ Gold Star Sale last month was a major contributor to the company having the best May during its 27-year history, Schaffer added.
During 2002, Lazydays achieved $696.5 million in sales revenue and the dealership’s strong performance in May shows it is making progress towards reaching its goal of $1 billion in annual sales revenue, said Don Wallace, founder and CEO of the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) owned company.
